ok so i landed an interview for an international marketing/pr firm and after the 2 hour writing test i have to take i have to make a 30 minute pitch to them about myself - thats the interview.  right now im at a blank of what do do.  i really want to stand out and not bore them with just going from my resume.. im leaning towards making "myself" be a "product" and i am marketing my brand (me) to them (if that makes any sense its hard to explain what i want to do)  i need some help or suggestions - how would you guys pitch yourselves to a big firm? im pretty open for everything because im just sitting staring at a blank powerpoint - and should i even go with a powerpoint? hahah last fucking minute as usual. any help would be awesome

well i'd recommend finding a few things about you that really stand out. whether it's your love for skiing (if you can convey that to them) or something else.

although you should spend a lot of time talking about your proficient business skills or whatever, give them a little spiel on what you like to do outside of work. tell them a few interesting points about you, and i bet that will get them more interested.

ahh thanks so far guys.. definitely think im going to throw skiing into the mix for sure.. touch on being "passionate" about it and talk about will and commitment and tie that in with business

and first post if it were a man id definitely take your completely solid advice but it's two straight women interviewing me haha

Why don't you make a commercial/informercial about an action figure. And said action figure is... YOU!
Make something like this:

That's all I could think of. You could list off all your "super powers" such as "warp speed multitasking abilities!".
Depends on how serious or creative the job is going to be.

i would say pick like 4-5 words that you like to convey in your everyday life and then make a video of skits and real footage of you trying to convey these words. obviously these words should show qualities you think this organization values and would like to find in an interviewee.

dont do a powerpoint, use a whiteboard

if you know how to use a whiteboard effectively in a pitch, youll get the marketing job
