Wake skis

so i keep seeing these ads for stereo wake skis and im not really sure what to think.  it looks like it could be fun but at the same time it looks kinda gay.  ive been moping around since the beginning of february with a torn acl so anything besides sitting on the couch looks fun.  has anyone done it and know what its all about?

I dont know much about it, but if you want to take a risk, go ahead and go with the wake skis.
If you have a cable park around u/access to a boat.. the safe choice is to wakeboard, it is much easier to learn because its so much more popular and its a pretty dope and growing sport.

I gotta say wake skiing on cable looks pretty sick tho

see i can water ski and i can wake board, not like crazy doing "sliders" and stuff like that but i can do it.  i was just wondering more if anyone had actually "wake skiied" and knew whether or not it was worth the trouble to try and like how it compares to real skiing.
