DAMNNN. thats some legit stuff right there.

and to first drop, if you can for the actual suits, make the orange part as "thick" if you can, like a real bold orange..just my opinion though. idk, thats the only negative thing that i can pick out, everything else is SO sick. especially zip off sleeves!

the suit will come in 6-8 color options, some bright colors, some dark, some one tone, some two tone. Pre-orders will begin this summer, and complete suits in each color will be available.

You can also swap bibs and sleeves with your friends to customize your suit.

the whole zip off arm thing is actually genius.

props to lesh for the idea, but i'm not a fan of the yellow and orange. maybe if they made a different color i'd buy.

I guess zip off arms are back in style.  I remember back in like 9th grade I had this typical spyder race jacket, which I loved, and it had zip off sleeves.  Perfect for the spring.  You get warm?  Zip off the sleeves.  Get cold?  Zip em' back on.  Zip off sleeves is not a new idea.

i think the jacket size may limit the arms being interchangeable which kinda sucks, but still a super sick idea. i hope they make a purple or red and white outfit.

yea gay racers used to have zip off arms on their spyder gear.

also i had an analog puffy coat with zip off arms.

what happens when I lose an arm? can you buy a replacement? will the coat have waterproof zipper where the arms detach? because a flap  wont cut it as im sure it could easily be flipped up or packed with snow and get chu wet, then your 20k wont matter. thoughts?

Thanks for the interest guys.

To answer a few questions- the spot where the sleeves zip off have zipper flaps to insure waterproofing. They have been tested for the last few months in every kind of condition and they preform great. The suit is super waterproof and tough.

About the pants, they are actually almost the same size as this years pants. They only look huge because the manikin is super skinny and small. The fabric will also be thicker, which will make them bag more evenly, similar to this year's suit.

We are using new magnets, stronger stitching, taped seams, better velcro, better tougher fabric, basically everything will be much improved and more stronger. We are spending literally twice the amount on production but will be charging the same price for the suits.

Quality, durability, value, and customer service are top priority and we will continue to do our best to prove that over and over.

and will it still be as warm as i hear it is? cause im really looking for something warmer than a shell like Saga, etc.

Holy crap! While I liked my FD this past season, there were little things that I thought could have been improved like the stitching and magnets. And now here is the owner of the company saying that all of my concerns have been addressed for the coming year and yet the product will cost them same. Well played First Drop, I'm super impressed.

i just hope its not ridiculously expensive. im not too familiar with first drop gear, but people here seem to think its quality so i think ill check their pants out next season. about how much does a pair of pants from first drop go for?
