Cheapest way to fix mac screen?

yo i broke my screen completely just wanna know if anyone knows any cheap ways to get that shit fixed. Mac shack in boulder is saying 400 but thats a lotta dough

Is it a Macbook? I had a friend who cracked his screen a little bit ago. Apple said it would be $800 for them to fix it. He got a new screen on eBay for $100 and installed it himself no problems.

I bought one on ebay for like $300 and got it installed at a local shop..came out to be like $450 in the end...sucks mang.
