Replying to Wake ski question

yo i know some people out here have em, im a slalom skiier (water not snow) and want to make a pair of wake skis. like legit pvc core play wood outerlay full rocker. we used to have an old pair of straight wood waterskis and they worked. not gunna do rails, but i want to know what i should use to make em. i figured do the PVC core cause stright wood would be way too heavy. maybe pvc then bamboo outerlay then waterproof it?? like i saw stereo and the whole "flex" and "pop" is bull because wake skiing your not going fast so the water is being broken not up on top like slalom so flex really wont matter nor pop even if the ski would "pop" or "flex" any ideas for core/ overlay of the ski. im going to make a jig and keep adding layers. would anyone here be interested in buyin a pair? im not really going to fiber glass it seeing its in my garage and my dad wouldnt let me. any ideas are great thannks. and yes, i will post pics when it happens in the next up comming weeks
