Got the word last week that i got a job at the town! (government job)

lol, planting all day sucks. At the end of the day you are tired, dirty, blistered, and wet. But if you are really putting in 2,000 trees a day then at least you are making some pretty good money. Are you planting the trees in the ground or soil pots?

lol at 2000 trees. yeah ok buddy, i bet you plant 3 trees a minute for 12 hours straight with no breaks and make 1700 dollars a day.

do you know what $0.85 is??? it's not eighty five dollars, its eighty five cents. wow. you guys are brilliant.

you carry bags of about 260 trees at a time, which are in small soil pods and are about 15-20cm tall. you plant them in forestry cutovers, and once you get the hang of it, you do plant 2000 trees a day, and hopefully more.

you walk into your piece for the day, kick the ground to remove the organic layer, jam your shovel in (which is kind of like a trowel with a long handle), pull side to side until you have a small opening, shove the tree in there, and stamp the ground shut, then you move 7 ft and plant another one, moving as fast as you can. you work in whatever weather might be happening that day, rain, snow, insane heat, etc. and that, is tree planting.

Tractor Driver Durring Cherry harvest....

Start at 5 every morning, no days off for over a month, super cold in the morning, 90+ degrees by noon. Pro's are big paychecks, only work for one month of the summer, and you get off by 3ish everyday, so you get to do whatever after that.

Kinda sucks, but its the best thing ive found so far...

and i'll add a picture to my description from page 3

this summer i'll be riding shotgun on a boom truck delivering steel to all of western pennsylvania, eastern ohio, west virginia, and a few places in maryland making 15 bucks an hour. the best part is that all i have to do is ride to the job site, help unload the truck, repeat. easy 40 guaranteed hours a week.

Just snagged a job at Greylock Federal Credit Union. I take pictures of houses for the Insurance branch. Ten dollars a photo 3 photos of each house! Electronic E-Mails, Electronic Transfer, Electronic Payments. Don't plan on giving this one up anytime soon!

freelance photographer...
i have gotten up to 50bucks an hour
already started a few jobs at 28/hr (portraits for insurance company)
an have a few lined up for 15/hr (digital reporoucing art/paintings for an online website)
