UFC 2010 demo is next week, couple other games have their demos dropping next week too. Supposedly some new add-on stuff for BC2 is also rumored to come out next week.

Thats soooo good.  Way better than skate 2.  It's so smooth and clean.  I was having trouble bailing into the vending machines, but thats a ton of fun

All you gotta do i spread eagles to get there and than cannonball when you hit the ground to roll out an hit it.

But I was skeptical going into this one and on the demo they have hardcore mode which honestly has just made me go out and buy it.

I just played it and it was sick.  Everything felt so smooth and the new tricks are pretty cool.  I just wish they gave us more space!

Yeah there's hardcore mode in the demo.  I thought it was pretty cool, but it was a lot harder.  I can consistently do all the flip tricks in normal mode, but I could barely land a 360 flip on flat ground and would fall a lot trying them in hardcore mode.  You have to pop a hell of a lot more to get any air.  Overall I think it was a good addition though.

you can do 360 tre flips on flat ground easily

i noticed in hardcore mode that you get a lot less speed per push and can't ollie as high

I must have bad technique or something haha.  I can do them every time/onto rails and stuff in normal mode, but I was having a really hard time doing anything in hardcore mode.

I think hardcore mode could be a great addition to the game... although it looks to me like they made the world a lot more Tony Hawkish, in the sense that everything is much bigger/faster.
Hopefully there is still a bunch of cool little intricate spots to fuck around on, rather than just massive stair sets and ledges.

It's a lot easier to miss rails/ledges too, and harder to lock on grinds.

i couldnt flip at all.  I only tried twice, but i couldnt even start the roatation.  Either they changed something or my timing was just off

The darkslides and underflips are so ridiculous. Doing 270 darkslides down those huge rails is so much fuckin fun. Also try out the object editor, u can put some big rails anywhere!!! I just hope they fix the tailgrab/nosegrab flip glitch. Can anyone tell if they have?

If you cant download it for PS3 create an alias account in the UK region rather than US and it will work. Super easy as long as you have a second email you can use.

On your home screen go over to users. Create a new user and sign into that new user. Then you should be able to create a new PSN account. And from there do everything the same except say you live in the UK rather than US. The address can be total bullshit. email is the only thing that matters.

demo is 20 mins but as soon as it runs out you can just start over and skip all the BS. So there really isn't much of a limit at all

demo is pretty sick, the new tricks are sweet (450 darkslide, oh yeah). The hall of meat from the tower is pretty sweet, you can glide so far with a spread eagle. can't wait for the full game and create a park

a medium amount... about the same as the skate 2 demo if i remember correctly. there are a bunch of rails and some cement stuff and a big triangle thing ive been doing flips off, the demo area is like a plaza in front of a museum or civic center or something. yes you can go off axis and flip and stuff, but like the one guy up there^^^^ said, it's a little different than it was before, if you press left stick too early (like, forward to do a front flip) it wont work so you have to be a little more deliberate and late with starting the flip. but i think besides that the flips are a bit easier, hard to tell on this one jump though

the different modes are pretty cool, easy/normal/hardcore, it affects how fast you go from pushing and how sketchy you can land and stuff. all 3 are pretty fun, but once youre used to normal or easy, the sluggish speed in hardcore mode is sort of annoying. but the harder tricks and landings are cool

i just noticed you can drop all kinds of different stuff (you have to unlock most of it somehow) whenever you want which is awesome. and i see larger versions of the kicker and wedge from skate2, which im reallllly excited for because most the fun i have in skate 2 is finding gaps and landings to set up the kickers in front of to make really big hard gaps and do switch corks and whatnot. and you can put down a bunch at once, so im thinking combo rails and putting together a bunch of big kickers side by side to make a nice big wide jump somewhere... anyway yeah its cool im excited
