Switching from snowboarding to skiing?

Anybody done it? i skied until i was like 8 and for the last 9 years have boarded...dont know why i switched, cuz skiing looks so much better...anyways i was just wondering how hard the switch is and any ideas you guys have...no need to turn this into a hate thread.

make the switch,... hell, even if you don't like it which I somehow never see happening with anyone, you can keep your board as well and do both.

plenty of people love to switch it up depending on the day

my friend switched from boarding to skiing he kills it skiing did it real quick he comes from a hockey background though which may help not sure?

I've snowboarded all my life and now im switching to skiing. About how long would you say before I can start doing blacks and tree runs? I'm going with some friends this winter break and want to be able to somewhat keep up with them by the 3rd or 4th day. Do you think this will be possible?

have you ever skied before? I just skied for my first time in like 7 years a couple days ago and was able to bomb most of the groomers at the local resort, although i only live in the midwest so thats not saying much. Felt pretty comfy turning and just cruising though. I would imagine by the 3rd or 4th day you will be pretty comfortable, but i wouldn't expect to be doing park laps or anything.
