Replying to Studying in Aalborg, Denmark next fall

Hey, I'm studying in Aalborg, Denmark for a semester in fall '10 and had a few questions.

First of all, since this is a ski site, what do you guys know about skiing near the area?  What is the closest place that you go to ski, and what is it like.  I think it may be pretty flat around Aalborg.

Also, do you guys know anything about Aalborg or Aalborg University?  The more information I have going in the better.  What do I need to know about Denmark before I show up?  Is anyone here from the Northern Jutland area?

I'm hoping to see a lot of sites and travel a lot.  Any suggestions?
