Hey, i live in denmark so I might know a bit
since the highest point is about 300 m in denmark, there is no places to ski at all. the nearest place to go skiing would be "snow dome", it's an indoor ski slope in witsburg in germany. some of my friends were there last summer, they had just started to do rails and stuff, and were there to learn how to do it with a pro danish skier. they thougt it was great, but if you are not a beginner, i would suggest go skiing in Austria, Italy or France, while its a lot better and they have some nice glaciers, which i dont think they have in either sweden or norway.
I know it will take like 20 hours by car, but its worth it. the mountains are a lot bigger, and what i know of, they also have better parks in the alpes.
if it is only like a weekend trip, i would suggest either sweden or norway :)
Aalborg university should be very nice, im planning to take my further education there myself.
i will let you know a little about danes. a lot are racists.. To buy alcohol in stores one must be 16, however at all bars, restaurants and discos the limit is 18. There is no drinking age, only a purchase age, and an adult can buy alcohol for a minor. By tradition youths are privately allowed to drink alcohol after their
confirmation. We are very sarcastic, so people will say the opposite of what they mean very often.
if you are going to travel in denmark i would suggest Skagen, which is the top of jutland an the most northern point in denmark. there is some nice nature up there. or you could go to bornholm, which is the only island in denmark with real cliffs, they also have some nice places there.
if you are going to travel outside denmark then Mallorca should be the place. and also a place in Italy called cinque terre. I think it is the most beatiful place i have ever been.
im from Vejle in the southern Jutland area by the way. if you have any further questions, just ask, i would be glad if i could help
have a good time :)
