It'd be cool if you had a spring pass, not a half-price-that's-still-way-too-fucking-expensive-for-spring-skiing pass, then I would come down. You could buy BOTH Squaw and Alpine spring passes for less then $300...

You should thank your parents for paying for all that

the only problem with that is you'd be stuck riding squaw and alpine........

what makes you say my parents are paying all of that?
my parents are paying for nicaragua, which i agree is pretty much all of that, but i'm gonna be on my own as far as skiing goes.
i'm doing as much as i can to lower the cost of the trip, but they're paying the rest.
regardless, i hope to see nsers there!

Fuck yeah. Im already booked to go the last day of schools dn the Saturday and Sunday after that (June 11, 12, and 13). Will Spring park be better this year than last year? I might have to go back for July 4 too, because that's one of the months that I haven't skied yet.

They keep features in main park as long as they can. 2 years ago they had a strip of snow surrounded by dirt into a 50 footer. They just close it when they can't have it open any more. And they build the upper park when it's too slushy to not. usually late april early may. Main park will be open into the end of may.

Projected closing dates for Tahoe resorts...
Sierra: April 11, 2010
Northstar: April 18, 2010
Heavenly: April 25, 2010
Squaw Valley: May 9, 2010
Alpine Meadows: May 16, 2010
Mammoth, July 4, 2010... 49 days after Alpine and 56 days after Squaw
Not sure if we will have any kind of spring pass yet. As soon as I get any info, it will be posted here asap.

We don't have set dates yet for the high elevation spring park. Main Park will probably be open through most of May. Spring park usually gets up mid may, but it's not as nice as Main park.

1. I'll be a dick for whatever fucking reason I feel like being a dick 2. I love it when bitch made people say sorry. 3. how the fuck can you put an exact date on weather? Theres is absolutly no way to tell when the snow is gonna melt, or if its gonna snow again, if there will be race camps, photo shoots, layoffs OR if there even will be an upper spring park, its all 100% circumstantial. Not to mention the mountain is staying open a month later this season, you should go aheadl use whatever youre packing for a brain in that water buffalo sized head you have, and think before you say dumb shit in front of all the little kids you love to demean, ESPECIALLY when it comes to mamm and you know grown ups are looking.

This. I've never been to Mammoth, but Freeskier said they have 200 rails and 50 jumps? Truth?

Yeah, sounds like Bear. Of course most of the jumps are small, but Bear is a rail rider's paradise from what I hear.

If they lower ticket prices I am going for sure. I can't justify spending $80+ on a ticket...especially when I'll be there for 3+ days.
