this doesn't matter......
I think it would be awesome though to have a women's team, obviously they wouldn't be throwing double corks of the JOI jump, but i think that they would definately hit it and throw some tricks off of it.
I am usually in favor of the underdog or giving the little guy a chance, but having the ladies at JOSS just wouldn't work. It would be like going to play football on Thanksgiving with the family when the dad passes it to his 8 year old and he somehow scores a touchdown because everyone pretends to tackle him but can't. They would maybe do a 3 or 5 over it and people would have to say "wow, that was really great!" while in their head ending it with "for a girl".
Why is it that our politcally correct culture cannot recogize that we were made differently? I don't care if you are an atheist, buddist, jew, christian or believe in Greek mythology, but you have to be blind to not realize there are inherently different abilities in men and women. Neither is superior, but different. The problem is that every insecure or feminist woman hears " women shouldn't be in the JOSS competition" and translates that in her mind to "women aren't as good as men" and generalizes a specific event that is to distinguish the cream the of the crop by applying to it overall "standing". There are tons of things men would be embarrassed by women at, because we are different.
That being said, I would say that every female freeride pro would embarrass me on the slopes. They are sick. Just not compared to pro men. Sorry.
yeah, at my hill girls aren't allowed in the park...
How have they not had the opportunity? They are all allowed in the park, summer camp, blah blah, blah blah. Guys in general just have better aptitude for sports. No one can say that's not true.
