i didn't see the last thread, but someone give me a quick rundown.

american pilots see a guy with an RPG and decide, hey, it might be a good idea to take this guy out before he fucks up our day with that RPG? and people are pissed because they made a poor judgement call and shot some civilians and kids in the process? do we give a shit if a bunch of cops shoot up a dope spot and kill some junkies, dealers, and the civilian who was there that hadn't bought drugs yet but might as well have been on his way to? they can't tell from the air, they are doing their best to fight this war and follow orders. they dont have ground forces to take care of problems and they sure as hell dont want to get shot out of the air. dont judge these guys because they didn't know, and they were just following orders. let them fight the war, they are over there, you didn't volunteer, you ass isn't on the line. plain and simple, think like a soldier and understand his thought process and then these things might make sense to your tiny anarchical brain.

Well I know I'm going to sound like an immature jackass here, but I feel the need to state my opinion. Personally, I see nothing wrong with the actions taken by the soldiers. They saw people with weapons, so they shot them. They shot the people in the van, who brought themselves into a dangerous situation. They did not intentionally kill children. I'm fucking tired of this war. In my life so far, we've been at war more than we've been at peace. Either we should pull out, or blow the shit out of anything that looks remotely dangerous. Honestly, I say don't worry about killing civilians if they're getting in the way of killing the people with guns and bombs. Just my opinion (Karma drop in 3..2..1..)

are you retarded? they were journalists carrying easily identifyable cameras, anyone with half decent vision could see that. there had been no conflicts or situations in that area recently, giving the soldiers no reason to be on high alert. they were shooting because they wanted to fire their weapons at someone, and they were going to take any opportunity to do so apparently.

im not giving any opinions on the war etc, but there really needs to be something done about the mindset of some soldiers
