Inspired by FlowMotion's amazing drawing of t-wall, i decided to create my own.

well, that's a lot better than i could do... but a couple of things to point out:

1. the other picture of wallisch didn't have anything on his face which makes it exponentially harder (facial structure, shading, not making the nose look retarded).

2. it's a little simple, but simplicity is key.

3. try to add a little more shading, it's a tad bland.

anyway, that's a dope picture, a lot better than my stick figures, but those were just a few pointers to continue. by the way, martini is the man! i just met him at jib academy last weekend.

head and all is good, but the hands need some touch up. hands are always the hardest part, good work

thank you to everyone for the helpful critisiscm. i am going to create another drawing of martini and i will try my best to have it like you guys want. no facial covering, more shading, better hands, etc. thank you FlowMotion. i loved yur wallisch picture. your compliment means alot hommie. keep checking the threads for a revised martini sketch. ill have it up soon. again thanks guys.

Squint your eyes and look at the reference photo and your drawing to compare the values of light and dark.  If you just draw the values rather than drawing features by outlining it will look a lot better, squinting your eyes makes it easy to see the darkest darks, and lightest lights in a drawing.

hey thanks man! yea the camera dosnt do it justice but it still does need darker shading

and yea im always drawing, getting better all the time haha
