Boot help

yes i know there are many boot help threads but im not very computer savy and can type some shit in and POOF heres a list of threads...

but i need to get new boots and the ones im skiing are packed out 27-27.5 technica agent 80's. but i am now finding out that the 2 companies (like shoe companies) size very different. i am looking for about a size 10 full tilt booter or hot dogger. OR spk boot OR dalbello II moro's. can anyone in sight me on the size i should be looking for in boot terms. thanks. cause now there are alot of sales and if the sizes are different and would fit me i dont want to pass up the deals. thanks guys!

booters, spks, and tecnicas are all on the 102+ last side (forefoot width). which is wide.
hot doggers + dalbellos are narrower + lower volume...
basically you need to try them on.

you should pick anyone one of the threads that you chose not to read and then go to a bootfitter because nobody on the internet can find a boot that will fit your foot

o i know that but around here there are no places with boot fitters. like its not park city haha and no one carries full tilts or spks or anything. the closest i would need to drive for full tilts is like 3 hours away so i was hoping someone can shoot me in a direction on a size.

that is nearly impossible, it would be better to drive all that way, or just get a boot that fits in your local shop.
From shoe size to boot is very different from person to person. Like i wear a 10.5 shoe and i'm in a 25 shell.
So go to a bootfitter, get a boot that fits. Getting a boot that fits will be better than getting a fulltilt boot that might fit

while the bootfitter is def. your best option, Ill try and help ya out. plus, there are some websites that will let you return unused boots without paying shipping (could someone help with the name?)

anyway, Il moros and hotdoggers fit nearly the same. they are on the slimmer side, and have a fairly consistent width from the toebox through the arches. the heelcup is very narrow and snug, slightly more so on the FTs.

SPKs are way wider, similar in fit to the technicas you were in. a bit wider in the toes, reasonably snug heelcup. more V shaped

the instep (above your foot and infront of your shin) on the SPKs is SLIGHTLY taller than Il Moros.

read up on what boot best fits what you are looking for then try this site possibly. you are SOL on the il moros but full tilt and spks are there.

Seriously, drive to your nearest preferred shop. Your feet will thank you. One simply cannot provide bootfitting advice over the internet. It's impossible. BOOTFITTER BOOTFITTER BOOTFITTER. Just to put it into perspective for you, in the Northwest we are fairly blessed when it comes to ski shops and the like. But you have to pick your alliegances when it comes to shops. The Sports Creel literally gets people from all over the place (often 3-5+ hours driving in) even when there are perfectly okay shops nearer to them--as do numerous Seattle-area shops like evo. My point is that A.) you cannot expect bootfitting advice over the internet--period. And B.) you are driving the shops that support skiers like you out of business. /rant.

so no body can even give me a general size to look for? cause i want to buy boots on her "used" cause im not going to pay 500 bucks for a pair of booters

ha all i was askin for was someone to be like "yo i had those boot now im skiin these boots and this is the size" guess no one really understands that there is no local boot fitter! closest shop with any FT or SPKS is 2 hours away

if you packed out youre 27.5s, try a pair of 26.5s. I wear a 9 street shoe and ski in a 26 SPK (307mm), after skiing 27.5 head mojos (317mm) for 2 seasons. I packed out my Mojos a TON, and got such bad toe bang/shin bang in them last season. My spks fit so money after skiing in them for like 2 days, so snug and perfect. I have a wider foot so they worked out so well. But seriously, TRY THEM ON FIRST. its worth the trip to the shop. trust me.
