Okay guys so i have a question about getting caught with a bong or a piece. So if you are pulled over and you have a piece but you have no weed and the piece doesn't have any marijuana residue in it can you still be busted for posesion? thinking of buying a hookah and want to know if i get pulled over with it in my car will i be screwed

if there's no residue then you'll be fine, its a legal item

but why buy a piece and not use it?

hookah isnt illegal. regardless of resin.

but no if your pipes or the bong you carry around in your car doesnt have any resin on it AT ALL youre fine.

go buy some cheap tobacco, if it happens again...you smoke the tobacco out of the piece. cop will know its horse shit, but they are legal because you can smoke tobacco out of them, so there will be nothing he can do

You're not going to get pulled over because there is a hookah in your car.


And like said above, as long as a piece or any other type of paraphernalia has no res in it at all, you're fine.

Whenever i buy a new piece, bong, or what ever i always make sure my car is clean of any paraphernalia and buy a little bag of tobacco. They are aloud to sell these products because they are for "tobacco" use. No matter what the cop says you stick with the story you use it for tobacco use only. As long as your car is clean and there is not any resign in the piece they can not do anything no matter what they say. I've had it happen before. They kept with there constant threats of this and that, but i never budged with my story and i was able to drive away with out the charge.

Also, as long as you don't have a warrant and the piece is out of sight (in the glove compartment, backpack, etc.) they can't search your car without your permission. They can ask you out of your car, but close and lock the door if you do, and don't give them permission to search your car, say no.

also, if the pipe is completely clean of res, then you're straight, no matter if it's in plain sight.
