Four day school weeks

My school decided to switch to these next year, and so did some other schools in the area.  I was wondering if anyone else on here has a school also doing this, and what do you think about it.  So many kids are just pissed off about it.

My friend's college does 4 day school weeks...they have friday off. Sounds pretty tight to me, especially because his year ends when everyone else's does.

my schedule this semester is like this, only classes monday through thursday. its soo nice having a 3 day weekend

Consider this, it adds about 9 weeks to your school year, basically you'll only have a few weeks of summer vacation...

Most college students schedule their classes to have Fridays off, some colleges just plain don't have classes on fridays...it's nice being able to have more control over when you have to go to school. Next semester (fall) I only have to go to school 3 days out of the week (just scheduled all my classes to happen on tues, wed, thurs....so I'll be in classes ALL DAY, but I get a 4 day weekend every weekend).

i basically have a 2.5 day week this semester, classes on tuesday/thursday and one at 630 PM on wednesday. i paid for it last semester and have tons of shit on tues/thurs but it's so worth it

By the way this is high school, and if I heard right then our year is the same but our days are I think about 2 hours longer.

My school is doing this thing where we have 5 day weeks but on one of the days we just sit around and do anything we want.
basically i could go skiing on that day and get marks.
win

Well my school decided to have Friday as a half day (ending a little bit earlier than half) it's nice because this way we still get work done and it's not as tight for carriculum (spelling?)
