Yeah god forbid they wanted to walk around in the streets in the open. Iraqi people should all be ducking in houses and fearing the hard iron fist of democracy.
I didn't see any assault rifles in there? They said weapon, apparently it was a camera. Could be mistaken but still. I think it's quite obvious that none of us know the context of the situation. It looks like they surpassed the rules of engagement but they quite possibly could have abused that.
Astomp, good luck over there man. Afghanistan needs a lot of help and I hope you represent the US like most have over there and do well. I mean this with the most respect possible because I think higher of you than most people on here, but seriously why would you say "I would obliterate 3 generations to save one person". I understand losing someone is hard, but that comment just isn't necessary. I could never value the life of an American soldier over the life of an innocent person. I mean no harm to American soldiers at all. The only thing I am saying is that I see people as people. I don't think any US soldier should have anymore propensity advantage to life than anyone misfortunate enough to be born in Afghanistan, but hey that's just me. I hope I am just taking that remark out of context.
