Ski sizing, is that right

I'm about 5'7 and 140 pounds, and im gonna go for a Salomon Suspect 10/11 171? would you say thats just right, too long, or too short? thanks

you could either ski the 171 or the 176, either one would be fine. The 171 will be easier to ski rails with, but the 176 will be easier to ski jumps and just easier to ski in general. I'm 5'8" 160lbs, and I ski mid 170s (usually 176, 177, or 178), but I have a pair of 171s for just screwing around with...skiing in the backyard, urban, rail days, ect.
