is hands down the saddest movie i have ever seen. and i made it through without crying.

i mean the first half hour or so kinda sucked but once they got into the story it was actually a really good movie.

I cried a ton reading the book. But I heard in the movie the dad is more of a supporting character? In the book he was really important, with some of the chapters actually told from his point of view. I'm not sure I'l like the movie if it's more focused on miley and boyfriend.
