well he is a pro rollerblader, and that sport shares a lot of the same fundamentals as skiing so it makes a lot of sense that he can slide rails pretty well and throw 5's and shit. it was really boring watching you ski down to the lift after every lap though.

His 666 rail means nothing. Yeah it's long as fuck but it really doesn't show his true skill in rollerblading. Just search youtube for his section in 4x4 Drip Drop.


On a side note. That's dope that he's skiing some more, and he's way good for how many times he's gone out.

Who cares if it was impressive, honestly there are 11 year olds in our sport starting to outperform 18-20 year olds. I think the whole point of the video was just to show that he enjoys another extreme sport, and has FUN skiing.

chris haffey is so damn sick. some of those gaps he was doing people would even do on skis (on snow) and hes doing them on concrete!

this thread is just another reason why skiing should not be associated with roller blading. theres a reason why roller blading and snow blading were kicked outta the x-games... and yeah it has to do with popularity. for a sport to be popular is has to not be as fucking gay to watch; and i mean gayer than watching two dudes 69 each other to face-covered completion. this is where roller blading and snow blading went wrong and it will never change so deal with it you gay hippies.

lol, Nicky Adams was way better than that, honestly i would have expected more for a pro rollerblader. I bet if most of this site strapped on rollerbladez for the first time in 10 years we could rival his ski performance on tha streets.

Actually i bet most of you would fall straight on your asses expecting there to be a tail there to hold up, that's what most people that say that do.
This video did suck though, i'm sure the one from last year was better. I'm stoked and surprised to be able to do Something better than Haffey, I actually expected him to be better than me.

Not at all... from rollerblading and skiing most of my life, ive learned that its a lot easier to transfer rollerblading to skiing than in is the other way. How many times have kids hucked a new trick and landed straight on their ass only to stand up laughing. I assure you that you will be crying if that ever happens to you with rollerblades on rock hard concerete.

Plus.. this vid gives a much better interpretation of how good chris haffey is on skis, while another sick inline pro, Brian Shima is on a snowboard. Keep in mind that they only ski a handful of days a year

that video sucked. the fist few park shorts were awful... followed up with 30 seconds of shitty groomer skiing with a gopro. I stopped the video pretty quick after that.

After seeing that video, I can safely say two things. Chris Haffey is NOT better at skiing than me, and this fool SUCKS at filming and editing. good day sir

it looks like haffey would be better at snowboarding like aragon.... even tho he can thro a 720 or 900, he'll never have the smooth style you get from skiing for years and years
