for people that ride the hellbents, could you please give me some feedback on how they ski and what they like and dont like about them--

They are great in deep pow. They are ok on groomers, and fun in the park. In deep snow, they float pretty well, and are fun and very nimble in the trees. The worst thing about them I have found is how soft they are. They tend to wheelie out on drops if you land with any weight farther back than directly over the bindings. They are money in deeper snow, and are super smeary and fun. But when you start dropping stuff, and taking them are firmer snow, the performance quickly goes down and the things that you love about them in the deep turn to what you hate on firmer snow. They are super fun on booters, but are a little bit heavy. Because of the softness, if you land switch a bit nose heavy, they can wheelie out, but over the tips. Basically, if you're jibbing around on pillows, booters, and small drops in deeper snow, they are great, but once the drops get bigger and the snow firmer, they are not very good. If you are interested, I have some 169's with Z12 TIs for sale.

thats all that i need to know about this ski, cuz i know that they are going to be great in pow i just dont know how they would handle bigger drops and hardpack

I was in the same situation as you, and I had my doubts about the bents. But it's weird, they stomp pretty much everything, and they're so easy to handle on hardpack at high speeds. My only complaint is that they're heavy. But seriously, get them, you won't be disappointed.

I got to test the Hellbents. I loved the pow performance, they seemed to have unlimited floatation even at very slow speeds. What surprised me was how good they were on groomers. I thought that skiing them on hard snow would be a real struggle but it wasn't at all. Also park jibbing is quite fun on the Hellbents.

When testing them I fell in love with the skis and decided to buy them, but there was a problem: there were no Hellbents left in Finland. I would have had to order from the UK. There was one pair of Line EP Pros left though...

I knew that Pollard designs amazing skis (I have Elizabeths) so I decided to go with the EP's. Yes, without testing. Best decision ever. In pow they are just as fun as Hellbents, the same floatation and surfy feeling are both there. On hardpack the EP Pro is a winner though. I love the 16 m sidecut (Hellbent is 22 m if I recall correctly), makes carving really fun. They are fun for park also. My friend tried them and started immediately throwing down the hardest tricks he could do (actually he bought EP's too a bit later). These excel in soft snow and on soft spring groomers! Skiing the sluffy spring snow is tons of fun.

Hellbents and EP Pros are both great skis, but I would go with EP's.

My Hellbents are 179s mounted at +5.5 with Marker Griffons. Their performance on soft groomers surprised me. Quick and easy to turn. They are a dream in powder. Smooth and just fun to jib around on. But, as expected, they sucked on ice and hardpack. Don't expect solid performance there. No one should. They weren't unrideable, but it was difficult to hold an edge and turning quickness seemed to be compromised.
