We get you are atheist, you make a point to tell everyone any chance you get, but seriously you make way more noise and bash on people far more than I have seen any person of any other religion on this site. I'm not religious myself, but I get sick of people cramming views down my throat, and in the past it may have been the religious people trying to force views upon people, but today, it is by far the atheist who promote their beliefs far more vocally.

The specific beliefs or lack there of have nothing to do with it. It is the action of forcing or shall I say "preaching" the Atheist idea and mocking all other ideas that are not their own that I am making a point of. Half the shit I hear from Atheist is them complaining about religious sects always trying to force their views on people, and then they turn around and tell someone they shouldn't believe in god and that there beliefs are bullshit. The irony and hypocrisy stun me. Then you have the other half of Atheist, who keep to themselves and live and let live.
Atheism most certainly can be compared to religion in what it is becoming. There are now Atheist (I don't know what to call them so for lack of a better word...) church where Atheist go to speak about values and the congregation as a whole shares the same views. They will all die and decompose becoming one with the earth someday. That is in a sense, their afterlife. One could even make the argument that Earth or the Solar System or whatever you want it to be is their god as well, the Big Bang perhaps. It doesn't matter, but these groups of atheist that gather to discuss what doesn't exist and what happens when they pass is most definatley comparable to any religion.
