meh...most bootfitters suck dick imo. so many people throw blind faith at them without realizing they are salesmen first and bootfitters second. if a shop doesnt have your size they will sell you a boot that doesnt fit just to make a sale. of course i am generalizing here but that has been my experience in the past.
even then you still run a risk. i was fitted about 3-4 years ago by the nordica boot rep at my local shop. you would think that this guy would know what the hell he was doing right seeing as how he was employed by nordica to sell boots. long story short he fit me for a 25.5 when i should be in a 24.5. granted i should have been able to tell that there was to much room in the toes so this is partially my fault. but i, like many others trusted this dude to find me a proper fitting boot, but when he didnt have a 24.5 or even a 25 he put me in a 25.5 and said it was good to go. needless to say i am my own bootfitter now
i wear a 12 shoe comfortably and have a 28.5 hotdogger.... you really need to go try on a few different sizes or go to a boot fitter to see which is yours newschoolers cannot tell you.
awesome.possum, I think it is key to find a bootfitter you trust, and i'd say going to even a shitty bootfitter would be better than getting opinions on NS, you can't e-fit someone
I wear a 10.5 shoe and i'm in a 25 shell, its all over the map
so go find a professional that you trust and get a boot that fits
