You'd need to build it in a bowl or something with possible run ins from two angles (from the bottom and from the right)

jackson hole had a wierd-ass feature sorta like that. gap to tranny to small kicker to gap to tranny to large kicker. the amount of speed required to hit it was wicked scary

Introducing the "Pig Tail Box".  You make a big mound of snow and cut a tunnel through the middle.  The box starts at the top, circles round the downhill side of the mound, comes back around to the uphill side, then turns and goes through the snow tunnel and out the other side.

I'm pretty sure there was a rail like this in Happy Dayz hit by Tanner back in 2002. I couldn't find any pictures, though. I'd like to see one again.

yea they did actually have a spiral rail. I think pep also hit it. It was such a sick hit. I think it started off going downhill and actually led them to a landing going parallel to the hill though, which is slightly different.

yeah tanner and pep hit one of those in happy dayz. that's another video i'd like to digitize and put a couple segments up from. one of my favorite segments of jon olsson's.. he even does a switch lip (unnatural slide) on an urban

Which is the hop on side?  Does it go 2 into 1 or 1 into 2?

This drawing is what I think will be one of the major new features being built and what will have a huge influence on the future of park.  There have been a bunch of threads on the possibility of dubs off of a box or rail.  I think that would be really tough on a regular canon style box because there's no contour.  It's hard to explain but I think that if the box has the same shape as the lip of a park jump, it will allow you to boost higher and create more rotation and flip.  This box is shaped the same as the lip would be, and you can still hit it with speed.

so not drawn in MS paint, but i sketched it up in class a year so ago and took a crappy cell phone picture of it before i stowed it away somewhere in my room.  kind of a variation deal of the 9 knights castle, but with some other stuff thrown in.

the other box is 2 meters high. so i guess its even higher over the dfd since it goes down under it. and probably why theres a saftey net so you dont fall and eat shit on the dfd

i believe this was done in sun valley for the monster shoot with wallisch and some others. it wasn't exactly the same as this but the same basic idea.

two jumps, in between the jumps is a pipe rail that you have to slide all the way across. on the less steep left jump, there is a cannon box. you land on the landing on the other side. then on the right steep jump, there is a barrel tap, or you can hit a hip on the right.
