So I just got caught smoking...

I just wanted to make one last thread before my priveleges get taken away for probably a month and i wont be on.

so basically i got fucked, she came home and said she smelled it and saw me and my friend in the backyard.

I have a
-job
-3.8 gpa
-girlfriend

and any list minute tips or hints or like facts or videos i can use to maybe get her a little less mad?

I would kill to have a 3.8 I think if I did my mom would not give a shit what I did as long as I keep getting through school with good grades.

But to the OP have a conversation with her. Treat her like an adult and if she doesn't treat you like one than something is wrong with her.

thanks guys im getting some good stuff out of this. so we already talked this morning.

basically she is just worried how it will affect my life later down the road if i were to get caught by the cops and stuff. i can no longer stay the night anywhere (big whoop) and i have to take random drug tests, so not too bad of a consequence but looks like my days of the reefer are done, at least til im on my own. But she agreed to watching "The Union" with me later and i made her promise to keep an open-mind to the movie and my arguments and told her im not trying to get myself out of trouble i just want you to have a better understanding of this "drug" or should i say plant? because the stuff she said about it was just all the usual naive and ignorant bullshit you get from teachers, above the influence commercials and cops.

ill give another update, in the meantime keep em' coming and thanks!

Dude the random drug tests (with some exceptions) never actually happen. I can think of four good friends whose parents have threatened that and they have not in the past 3 or so years administered said test. The legit ones arent cheap either. This will blow over man dont be too concerned.

yeah, my parents have been "testing" me for 3 years now.

i got my first drug test last year, after the school called and said they saw me selling (total bs) i passed that shit no problem.

i dont do drugs at all anymore, just drink and dip nbd

i basically told her that im a good kid who makes good grades in school, work a job 10-15 hours a week, have a steady relationship and am a pretty respectful child and that i just like to smoke weed on occasion to just kind of let loose.

she tried to tell me that all marijuana is laced and stuff now-a-days (total bullshit) so i told her she needs to watch the union with me (which we are going to do in 20 minutes) because she is extremely naive on this subject obviously.

after showing her the union she basically said she understands the plant is not bad and has not negatively impacted my life, she just doesn't want me getting convicted and having it follow me forever preventing me from getting jobs and what not. ya know?

yea word the union is such a good documentary, basically points out all the flaws in the war against marijuana and how marijuana is not bad at all and we have a lot bigger fish to fry if were gonna worry about this stuff.

started smoking when i was 13, got caught pretty soon after, took a break for about a year or so, smoked occasionally for a year or so, now i smoke rarely, im not really sure why i smoke rarely because i love smoking and how it makes you feel and how it makes you think. something about my parents keeps me from smoking and i have no idea what it is because im fairly sure theyre cool with it because im open about my friends smoking with them and i get decent grades, like a 3.8 or so and am not a bitch to them like my 12 year old sister who thinks shes the shit. just the other day friends were over, left to go on a walk and smoke a few bowls. My dads like where did all your friends go and i said on a walk and hes like "oh just out for a short toke i see" and i just said yep and he made a few jokes about them raiding the pantry and that was that.
idk why i just wrote that, but it was fun, and spring break is over and school sucks :D

fuck my parents are as closed minded as it gets and when i got caught my dad didnt fucking talk to me for  2 god damn weeks, literally he didnt talk to me after cussing me out and smashing my pipe, my mom only talked about how fucking stupid i was for smoking for a week then we didnt talk for another week after that, you have to sack up and realize what you did has a punishment, not everybodys parents can be as chill as your coolest friends parents, mine arnt for sure, i mean it happens, suck up for the next few months or your gonna be in a hell life

if you got a job and decent grades tell your mom to go fuck herself.. its not like your smoking the crystal or the rock.

if anything its better than your burning it down around the house where you have no chance of getting booked. when i was in high school, i got booked for the crons and after that my mom said i had to burn in the yard.
