But I always support Porters first.  Always the best prices and their customer service can literally not be beaten.  Backcountry does have the best return policy I have ever heard of though.

No but srsly, backcountry is definitely legit. Zappos.com has the fastest shipping known to man, although they dont have much ski gear besides some oakley outerwear. One time I ordered an Oakley jacket from there at 9 PM, and it arrived at 4 PM the next day. Rediculous.

Backcountry. I recently had to warranty a pair of skis, but since I got them on Backcountry I just decided to return them instead. $7 shipping label got them back and I got my refund right away. Can't get any better.

your local shop is pretty legit, any time a customer comes in and i start talking to them about skis, and they aren't an asshole, and dont disprove me immediatly because im a young guy taking to them about skis "wait you dont snowboard?", ill usually cut ppl deals, and hook em up with some free poles as well. So check out ur local shop and talk to some of the guys there.

evogear, backcountry, rei, the house, buy/sell/trade forum

and evo, backcountry, and rei have outlet sections on there site for great deals on older stuff. got px12 jib ti's for a huge discount that way.

or if you want to constantly be looking this summer for deals on bindings, outerwear, goggles, and the occasional pair of skis, tramdock, steep and cheap, brociety, and whiskeymilitia are all one deal an hour type of sites with skiing, hiking, snowboarding, and all kinds of outdoor gear
