How to download a song off HYPEM.com

It's easy, well it gets easier with repetition.



Go to hypem.com, find the song you like and play it to the end. Next open up a new tab and type in "about:cache". Scroll down to "disk cache device" and click "list cache entries". Ctl + F to find a file with .mp3 and the end. Click that file. Look at the file path under "file on disk", mine was file on disk:

/Users/ME/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/***********/Cache/9E2FF640d01 find that file on your computer, copy it to desktop, and finally rename it to something with .mp3 on the end. DONE

it seems as there are easier ways to get music.

If anyone has some great websites for mp3s what are they?

or you can just click where it says "Read Full Post" and that will bring you to the blog that posted the song in the first place. A download link will be on that blog page 95% of the time. either just click that link or right click it and click "Save Link As.."

^a lot of the bogs don't have them downloadabe, and the right click doesnt work. ive done it 30 times now and can do the whole thing in less than 2 minutes, thats about as fast as limewire. the only reason i started doing this was because i couldnt find certain songs on blogs, torrents, or limewire

hmm i've never had any trouble with the blogs not having the download links. but hey, if that method works then use it

same here, but i find it too tedious,

i also find using limewire to get songs off hypem is very difficult if they're even remotely underground, which many are.
I usually copy the artist and title into google search then i type mediafire at the end. then look for the domain "mediafire.com" and you can click the link on that website. the file downloads in no longer than 15 seconds for me

Better yet: you can just type "site:mediafire.com" in your google searchbar and then whatever you want to search for and it will only search through mediafire.

seriously, try this^ if you're still using that limewire bullshit.  It's sooooooo much faster and the selection is waaaaay better because most music bloggers use mediafire for their uploads so there are a lot of underground songs up on there that you might not expect. 

but thanks OP, I'll try that next time the song isn't linked to a blog where you can download.
