No skier needs doubles to be sick, doubles are just one kind of trick. No big mountain skiers do doubles (with a few exceptions) and they are still insane skiers. Just because double are the new "hot thing" in park skiing doesn't mean the people who aren't doing them need to have some redeeming quality. A double is a double, not a ticket to skiing stardom.

Truth, people hate on dubs way too much, you can do a dub with small rotation like kang which is only a 9 or like switch dub cork 9 and they would be easier to get around and be steezy than like a switch 12, which casabon did in his xgames run.

Hey you know what? You don't need park to be the best skier ever. Because park is one aspect of skiing, and though it is sick, only a BAMF thinks it has anything on big AK lines or a pillows or just making turns in the powder.

i think a better question is name a skier that is only sick when doing dubs? almost all pro skiers are sick, they just choose to do dubs to podium in comps understandably.  look at wallisch for example hes sick to watch but he just does doubles in comps for the most part

its so much more fun not doing dubs...shut up and get some style kid nobody wants to watch chris laker huck dubs on a 40 foot jump that shit does not look fun in any way shape or form although it is hard ill give him that. just because something is hard does not really make it cool. if it's cool, it's cool.

i would be stoked as shit to do one. also if anyone did one around me i would be like SICK! but then again the biggest mountain i go to has only like one 45' jump. so even seeing a styled 5 gets props from everyone
