Sooo, this upload is far too big for the "Post Your Best Photography" thread, so I'm giving myself my own. These were all shot at what is generally regarded as Vancouver's best thai restaurant, Maenam (
http://www.maenam.ca). This was my first time shooting in a commercial kitchen and it was a bit unforgiving; super fast paced (no time for focusing, adjustments, poses, etc), hot, low light (all shot around 4000iso hence many black and whites and split tones to deal with the grain), confined spaces, and visual mess. I'll be shooting in at least one more kitchen this summer, so I'm definitely looking for some feedback, what kind of shots you'd like to see more of, what you liked, what I'm doing too much of, and what you might try. This shoot is admittedly portrait heavy because they were shot as keepsakes for a friend who works there and will be leaving soon.
