Full Tilt toe/heel lugs wearing out?

So I've put 3 days in on a new pair of full tilt konflicks and after the first day I noticed that there's already quite a bit of wear on the top edges of the toe and heel lugs where they make contact with the binding. I've worn the bottoms out of my toe/heel before but never the tops or seen so much wear after one day of riding. At first I thought my bindings weren't properly adjusted for the BSL but I've taken them to a couple shops and they say they're set properly. The only suggestion a shop tech gave me was that the plastic full tilt uses could be softer. I'm not trying to be a bitch about it -- hopefully it's just cosmetic and they don't wear to the point that they don't fit into the binding properly. Anyone else run in to this/ have any suggestions to fix it?

PS - I've got Salo STH 14 binders with the "Z" style toe piece and I've got the DIN set to 10.

You might be able to to fix it with a replacement heel peice but I would suggest getting a better boot brand like Dalbello's. I had Fulltilts and fucking hated them, shitty made boot all in all.

Man im sorry to hear that, maybe they're using a softer compound on the toe/heel than before.

I bought my FTs 3 seasons ago and theyre still in near perfect condition, and i ride 3 times a week and walk everywhere in them. Best boots i've ever owned hands down

Perhaps you're just noticing the major wear cause theyre new and you're wearing through the tread on the bottom. Once that kind goes obviously theres alot more plastic and whatnot and theyll stop wearing so quick. If not order new toe/heel pieces, theyre replaceable

I've had a FT boot from every year of their production. My heels are usually pretty worn by the end of the season but they are replaceable. I've never had any problems with salomon bindings (sth 16) but I did notice a bit of wear on the top of the heel from using FKS Bindings. I can only imagine that it's from a lot of pulling up against the solid steel contact points on that particular binding.
