i recently got into an argument with a friend of mine over die cuts and stickers. ik sounds stupid. but i was arguing that they were the same thing even thou i have no clue if theres a difference. i would be very happy if someone on ns could enlighten me as to a difference. therefore allowing me to win this argument.

stickers - anything that sticks to something

die cut - home-made sticker without a background made using a press, usually letters that are cut out of a 1 sided sticky material

Since when are die cuts home made? and a press? wat?

Die cuts are made using a plotter/cutter, and can be made anywhere, stickers can be made at home as well.

This is awesome! Not only did you get in an argument over stickers, you came here to resolve the problem hahahahahahaha. I think some company invented this thing called a search engine, they are pretty quick......the company name is like Google or something weird like that....
