I'm trying to get into making mashups, and so far i've made a few. I wanna make original shit though, not the standard Biggie remixes all the time. I know about the acapella sites, but they only have mainstream acapellas. What is a good program that can filter out the instrumentals or extract vocals?
This website has a lot of non-mainstream acapellas but not people too obscure. No program really works that well it would be better to just get the actual one. If you look at record stores there are a lot of acapella albums and what not of kinda underground artists.
its almost impossible to obtain a studio acapella from a song. go to acapellas4u and blacklabelled.com for acapellas. blacklabelled also has nice instrumentals.
if you really wanna try, use audacity, split stereo track and invert it. watch how to do it on youtube.
