Sewing regular pants to make tight pants?

so i have pair of tight pants but they are getting really beat up and I want to sew my baggy pants to make them tight. so basically how do you do this? i was thinking

-sew the knees tighter?

-or maybe unstitching them down the sides and then restitching them all together tighter?

same thing here , i have  tight pants too, but i want to sew in my old baggy ones

i was also thinking about stitching em tighter , maybe im gonna try it tomorrow!!

yeah im thinking about it but don't want to destroy them on accident cause i've never touched a sewing machine or thread/needle

if you are going to do this youre going to loose any sort of insulation. be sure to do it with a shell pant.

flip the pant inside out

safety pin where you want the pant to come in

sew.

cut the excess

have really tight pants that scream "sewing guru"

i sewed mine in by hand, but for a good strong seem i would use a sewing machine. First just flip the pants inside out. Then just measure about about 1/2 to 3/4 up your boot to where you want to start taking in the pants so you can still get them over your boots. Lay out a radius on the inseam of the pants of how much material you want to take in. then pin it so it stays put. and sew them up. just do one leg first untill you get it where you want and then copy that on the other leg. http://www.snowboard-mag.com/node/27839 this thread kinda helped me figure it out. there is a pretty good explanation in there.

i just folded it over and dub stiched.... idk you can tell but it looks good cause it looks baggy/ruffled but slim

cop some tight pants from TJ Maxx or Kmart, just buy Levis Mens Tight, they have em. Like 5 bucks a pop.


But if you really wanted to sew, I couldn't help you because I got an F in sewing. Sorry Mitch.

don;t sew your pants in, you may tire of
wearing tight pants every day and wanna switch to baggy. just buy a pair off of here. there at least 3 pairs on here right know. search holden and you'll find a bunch.
