MHSSC vs. Windells

We all obviously know that Windells is superior, but if you all were given the choice between 2 sessions at mhssc or 1 session at Windells, which would you take? And which place would you most likely learn more?

If you do camper staff, you ski just as much as everyone else. You are just doing the dishes and cleaning up a little after everyone else leaves..its well worthit, you pay about 1/4 of the reg. week price as many weeks as you want, after paying for one whole week regular price.
I will probably be driving you to the mountain if you do camperstaff.

early april=spring skiing. plenty of snow, might even get some fresh, choice of several different mountains and winter season parks at their most built up/prime.

Is that the spring camp you are going to??
Most people come to our camp in june early july.
Conditions in april will be great, either some new snow luckily.
Or warm weather with timberlines sick spring park.
I recommend coming in the summer though..

I just changed my whole mindset on this upcoming summer from this thread!
And If i want to change original plans of going to Windells, I'm going to need some hype for MHSSC!

this is gonna be my third summer at mhssc, first week i went for one week, last summer i went for 2 weeks, and this summer i'm going for 4 weeks doing the camperstaff program. mhssc is so legit and fucking awsome. definitly go

So I suck at typing on an iPod but mhssc is a much chiller environment thin windellss on hill it's not all about show boating more just having a good time and learning our park is smaller but is quality jumps are nicer then windells but we don't have any huge ones rails are standard good rails that the park crew is constantl switching up and we have the best down rail on hood out side of skiing mhssc is super chill with alot of time just chilling around campus which has the best tramp o. Hood our skate park is limited but still superfun plus cause of the race part of the camp the girl to guy ratio is higher and not every hot one has like ten guys all over them pm me with any qs

hehe thats because MHSSC sucks at advertising. that video does NO justice to the actual experience. the park is well maintained and the coaches are good at teaching you stuff. its not flashy. but it works. you want to know what happens in the park? look at jaznewts edits posted in here. look at the EDITS posted in here.

MHSSC's owner does not care about flashy advertising..
We dont have the best website or advertising, but the people who know about our camp, and its qualities know that it doesnt need Windells hip advertisement.
But personally, I think that there does need to be some improvement here, so this summer, Im going to work on better edits and advertising for MHSSC.

Hey I have a few questions about MHSSC.

1. Will I fit in if I am learning 360s, almost have them down. I can 180, and do boxes. That's it. Oh, and a couple of grabs. ??

2. What type of dorm/rooms/cabins or what do you sleep/stay in?

3. Are the counselors chill and nice, not cocky?

I honestly hope you have been to both before you say that lodging and food is better, and that you meet more people at mhssc. I went to Windells last year and it was the week of my life. The cabins were tight but it was fun as hell, not to mention the facilities they offer you to train during the day are just amazing. Product tosses get people riled up and there are always different challenges and things going on around campus. If you are looking at the two camps from a progression standpoint, yes, 14 days would be better. However, if you look at it from a fun experience, Windells will be better. Not to mention if you are serious about pursuing skiing throughout life, you will get more exposure and make more connections with people from the Windells line. And by the way, progression is certainly possible, I learned dub 10, cork 10, and switch rodeo 7s while i was out there for ONE session. Don't hate on Windells just because it is expensive, it really is kick-ass experience. Nonetheless, I'm sure MHSSC is also.

We have a range of skill groups at our camp.
But for the most part, everyone is seshing the park together, no one cares if your doing cork 9's, or 360's, everyones pumped to be skiing, and learning together, pumping each other up.

The rooms have about 4-6 bunk beds in each room. there are 2 lodges on our campus, our lower, main lodge is for younger campers, and the upper lodge is mainly for 15-18 year olds. Also, there is the chance to stay in govy in goldenpoles rooms. It costs more, and you have to get up earlier to catch the vans to our main lodge to have breakfast in the morning and to meetup with your group.

Us counselors try to have as much fun with you guys, as long as you guys listen and are chill dudes..
