That was really solid for you first edit!

The only thing I could really say that doesn't come with more experience, is avoid using too many different fonts and animations for titles throughout the edit. It starts to look a little unprofessional.

More follows and different shots. I saw more problem with the filming than the editing. Add follows/ moving shots, it started to get boring watching the same shot with a different trick/rider.

Very good for a first edit though! Keep it up!

probably want to move this over to media&arts if you are looking for critique. Solid for your first edit, but definitely stuff you could improve to make it 100x more legit.
Tripod-stabilize those shots yo
Variety-different angles keep the viewer interested
No slow motion-unless you can shoot at a higher frame rate and smooth it out in post

this. especially the tripod
1. dont use transitions! or dont use as many.
2. follow your skier. some parts you lost the skier.
3. dont zoom in too much like during the part of your back country jump.
4. use 1 font

and like one of the other people said not as many transitions. follow the skier more.

nice edit, try cutting the shots a little closer to the tricks next time.

also, every place has it's own feel, when you change locations, ex. park to backcountry change songs, this will also add some variety to the edit and make a longer edit more entertaining.

good job though
