Its because blue is the greek color for the son of the sea who has also been reffered to as the father of the new world, which is america, so white males and white is, then men of the skies which in greek also is reffered to as a white males, and they are letting the world know that white males are the most important part of our "computer" or worls...

Well you know, iCal, iPhoto, iMovie, Photobooth, Preview, Garage Band, and the trash can are all mac applications and guess what? They aren't blue. Sorry to pop your bubble.

But yeah kinda cool that there are a lot of blue/white icons, because I like those colours haha.
