yooo wuddup guys. im headin out to tahoe tomorrow and im stayin across the street from heavenly pretty much. I'm skiin T, W, Th and im doin tues at heavenly with my mom. i wanted to make the trek to mammoth one day but its too far SO i need to know where to go wed and thurs. i think im gunna spend one day park and one day pow (if there is any?) so i gotta know where to go for what and why if possible. preferably places an hour and a half away or less so like kirkwood, squaw, alpine meadows, and anything else im missin.
TLDR: I need one place for park and one place for pow near heavenly.
Thanks in advanve

sierra at tahoe is near heavenly (also south shore) and usually has a pretty solid park. other than that, your best bets for park would be north shore (northstar, squaw, alpine, boreal.)

heavenly has some good stuff on a pow day. sierra i imagine would have a bit too. northstar is really flat, but i hear there are a select few stashes on pow days. i have no idea where though.

Yeah Northstar has legit stashes if you know where to look. I only show NSers in person. Heavenly has Killebrew (sp?) which is apparently really legit on a pow day. But in terms of south shore, Kirkwood is def the best place to be on a pow day.
OP, Northstar has a dope skier scene, all the skiers are chill there for the most part. Park is one of the best in Tahoe and has some of the biggest jumps in the area.

Not sure about who is going where, when, but Wednesday looks like its going to be naaasty!
From NOAA, for Squaw / Alpine area:
Tonight: 3-7"
Tuesday: 8-12"
Tues Night: 6-10"
Wednesday: 3-7"
I recommend one of these: Squaw, Alpine, Kirkwood. Heavenly or Sierra would be fun too, but you probably would have a better time at the three other places if you want to get radical.
Have fun, you came at the right time!

i know these mountains all closed now, but i would take heavenly park over sierra, northstar, and most mountains any day. But i like jumps, and heavenly is QUALITY.
