The most fun I have had in a while

Today, I went to the Bustin Longboards store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and got myself a brand new Strike longboard, Randall trucks and Oragatang wheels. I had to drive back to my house in Manhattan but my dad dropped me off a couple blocks away from my house so I could try out my new board. I had enough fun on it to go to my house, put on some warmer clothes, then go back outside.

Even in the freezing cold I had the greatest time of my life, bombing hills, veering around people. I thought that I should share this story with NS just because I had so much fun. Oh and to add on, I saved up the money for it which gives me a sense of accomplishment whenever I ride it. Anyway I hope NS is inspired by this story to go out, grab your board, bike or whatever you ride and shred!

its addicting for sure. the first time youre going down a hill/road and figure out how to control speed... sickest feeling ever. makes longboarding insanely fun and opens up a whole world of new roads and hills to try.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! Yeah this is my first longboard that is actually long, I just have a pocket Rocket, pretty stoked on my new Bustin though, and the Bustin store is the coolest store I have ever been in, nicest skateshop by far!

It's like your floating on air, The Strike is the best longboard I have used by far!

I recommend everybody get that board haha Also yeah I need to practice on up with getting comfortable at high speeds. And T-Hold, which is the longboarding cult is it the one made by sethpisto?

What longboards have you used?

That's sick OP, make yourself some slide gloves, get some pads and start learning slides!  It's really not safe to longboard without knowing how to slide..

just got a brand new dervish! I convinced my parents to order me one because i suffered so much over my season ending abdominal sugery, but now Im better and it just came and i've been shredding so much and having so much fun. i just cant figure out how to do 180 powerslides haha. whatever though ill figure it out eventually, longboarding is so fun
