who knows how to fix squeaky trucks? i found a few solutions on silverfish and youtube (soap shavings, etc.) but Im wondering if any NSers can give me some definitive answers. I dont want to go putting soap shavings or lube on my new longboard till im sure
My board (about a month old) has squeaky trucks but it doesn't really bother me. When you are cruising along is it really that bothersome that you are considering putting soap shavings on them? If it really is I don't know what would help, but I wouldn't consider it necessary to fix...maybe the squeaks will go away after they are broken in more?
yeah its a loaded so its super wobbly and therefore more squeaky. also, i use it more for performance/fun than i do cruising. basically yes, it is too annoying for me to just ignore it. btw, sorry about ohio state. they got kilt. and i dunno about oil... seems kinda sketchy
fuck you dude the bushings (and the rest of the board) are brand new, hence my hesitancy to mess with them. what kind of oil are you talking about? i'm just tryna do this right
I just had this, take soap a little knife and then take the shavings and put it into the pivot cup, or where the ball at then end of the truck goes into the base plate. It doesn't hurt anything and doesn't leak like what oil would do.
