Dying Booters

I have the 2009 Full Tilt Booters and has anyone ever died the actuall boot part ( The Blue )? I was planning on dying them with black RIT dye. Would this work?

I've never tried dying the blue part, but I've dyed everything else on the 09 Boots, it works out pretty well actually.

i would remove everything so its just the plastic blue part. and you should be able to die it black cause its darker. just use lots of die and be ready to do it more then once. worse case scenario it'll just be slightly darker blue instead of black.
