i don't obsessively bite my nails, but if i see white showing i bite it off. i don't think i've used a nailclipper for my fingers in several years

I'm addicted to biting my nails.

It runs in my family, my papa does, my sister does, and my grandfather does.

Mine are probably like 1/2 an inch long, at longest. I compulsively bite, and I get infections constantly. =(

As you can see in this picture my cuticles are dried blood, and my skin is beat red above my cuticles.

that's so shitty, I know kids who have like stunted nail growth. It doesn't even get long anymore, they're just bitten them so much.

I've bitten off nearly my whole nail. Haha it sucks and kills. Especially when it gets in water. Stings like a fucker!

i have a friend who bites his so short that the skin like wraps around them, its really fucking weird.

i cant even bite mine if i try, i think i have thick nails. i usually cut them as soon as they get more than a little bit of white, my toenails on the other hand i forget about a lot unless its summer...they get kinda long before i notice.
