Hey new schoolers, i have a chance to pick up a pair of 07-08 chronics 171 for a good price, i was just wondering how they will be for a park ski for me im about 5'11" 162 pounds, i also have my scratches which are pretty beat up in 174 just for pre season summer sessions and just when its not the greatest out. Thanks for the help. if you need more info just let me know

chronics are sick in the park but also are great all mountain, however they are fairly stiff for park skis so it depends on what your preferences are...also 171 might be a tad short depending on how you're gonna mount them

i would say 171 will be good for what you want to do i mean don't go ski any crud or pow or anything just for park they should be fine i mean they a tad short but you wont really lose any performance just may be a little less stable

they are a tad shot fro your size, im mean if i were you i would have gone with 176 or bigger

They are a little wider then your normal park ski so they should be more stable on rails.
