I have Afterbangs and I love them.  Super fun and buttery, have great pop onto rails, and can hold up well on jumps up to about 45 feet.  I rode them out west for 5 days straight in foot deep powder and huge groomers; they did hold up fine, but a stiffer/wider ski would have been much better, so for this reason I recommend Afterbangs for 90%-100% of park skiing, on mainly rails and small to medium jumps.  The anthems are a bit wider which would definitely help out outside of the park so if you aren't riding in the park most of the time and just want a fun buttery all mountain ski, then get anthems.  Anthems would also be better on bigger jumps.

why did you make this thread and then the alpha 2 vs press thread? and secondly you didnt even specify for what type of ski you are looking for with regards to urban vs. jumps vs. all mountain. anthems are super fun but are quite soft. afterbangs are stiffer but they fall apart easily

you sir are an idiot, in my eyes they are two completely different skis, get afterbangs if all u want to do is park, get anthems if u want to ride the mountain and the park. case closed.

Anthem, Afterbang is strictly for park, and mostly a jibbing ski. The Anthem slays groomers and is very good on rails and great on kickers. The width of the Anthem right off the bat is the deciding factor though.

its not which ski is better. its what one is better for your type of skiing the afterbang is just a invader with skate constructiong and the anthum is stiffer and alittle wider
