anyone know the name of the application you put in your dock that you just type in the name off an application and it opens it for you, taking away the need to have a cluttered dock ?

what? It seems like a cluttered dock would be less work than typing the name every time

and regardless its called the spotlight button, conveniently found in the upper right of your screen.
