Any tips for switch on urban/hardway?

I have been trying to figure out how to dial in this trick but cant really seem to get it. I have switch lipslides on lock but when i try switch on urban i find popping over the rail really tough and awkward. Any tips?

Same dude! I have extreme difficulties getting on switch. I used to just pop off right away, but now I find it so much easier to come in switch from the beginning of the drop and then spot the rail. When you get to the urban jump, spot with your eyes and get to the jump sideways. Should help a little I guess. Practice on boxes?

its scary at first, try a regular down rail/box or a flatter one, just getting over the fact that you are sliding backwards will probably help you get it.
