dude ill be honest no one comes on here. people chek it like every other day. i mean look at the top ten threads. the latest post in some of those are like 3 days ago. A snoqualmie cult is just something for people who ride snoqualmie to chat, post edits, talk up contests, and just generally have a lil fun when theyre not shredding. i mean, we could have a trick tip forum, but its so much better if its a cult. If someone on her actually cares, feel free to explain to this kid why a cult that would be hidden in the bowels of a server in Texas along with the other 10,000 cults justlike it, is not the best way to orginize and get noticed.

The problem with a cult is: nobody will use it. Only a few cults that have a broader appeal usually work (eg crochet cult), or where conversation is really pertinent to a smaller group. The reason why so many fail is a thread in the appropriate forum will usually suffice. Perhaps I'm just repeating what has already been said, but why would a cult succeed better than a more widely visible thread that has only moderate activity?

By all means go for it, but a thread operates the same way, rather than a circle jerk of like 5 people posting their gopro edits to the same 5 people. In my mind, at least the thread has the ability to showcase attributes of snoquamlie (usually bad) to others who might not give two shits.

And how the fuck would it lead to more comps? Your logic sucks ass. The reason why comps died revolves around two factors: no bloody skiers showed up, and those who really have the leverage to host comps are pro-board/snowskate, and are ambivalent towards skiers. Telling the same 5 people there is a comp aint gonna do shit. Broadcasting it to all in WA (or the region) will, especially if the comp has any merit, see Pretzels for an example of success.

you COMPLETELY missed the point.

Snoqualmie doesnt 'suck too much' for its own cult. by your logic, then your beloved Baker, Stevens, and Crystal all "suck too much" for a cult.

No mountain needs its own cult. THERE IS AN ENTIRE FORUM DEDICATED TO THE STATE OF WASHINGTON. And it does not get very much traffic. Why would a more specific, harder to access forum prosper? To the OP: You are working the wrong way.

the thread is about snoqualmie having its own cult....which i said is stupid cuz the mountain is so weak. that doesnt mean any other mountain should have its own cult.

unless its an exceptional snow year, snoqualmie is garbage...its short, crowded, expensive and lacks challenging terrain. they're only hope its to have a kick-ass park... which still sucks. silver fir

alpental is crackin, dont get me wrong...i never dissed it in the first place. but its still the same ticket price with very steep but limited terrain, unless its o.b. which is completely different. ahhhviosly
