only get the afterbang if you want a ski that you can beat the shit out of,
the afterbang is only really good for urban, it has a slo base, and breaks alot on jumps
the armadas are super sope, you just gotta wax em a bit more than normal skis
I had Pipe Cleaners this season and they were by far the best ski I have ever owned. Perfect flex pattern for skiing park and also hitting up some groomers, trees, and light pow. They have the same 2.5mm edges as the AR6s so they are solid on rails/boxes. If you maintain the base by waxing them every 2 or 3 or 4 times you use them not only will they be much faster than almost every other park ski on the market, but the bases will be very durable against rocks, rails, boxes, stumps, logs, roots, etc.
Ya it's great in pipe, but it's also one of the best 2 or 3 jump skis out there. It's not like they explode outside of the pipe. They also carve better and hold up outstanding on rails. The AR6 and Pipecleaner are extremely similar, the Pipecleaner is just faster and stiffer.
my brother has the Thalls from the same year as my Ar6s and if you knew nothing about skis, how they felt, etc. youde be hard pressed to tell a difference.
however ide imagine a Thall to a Pipecleaner would be a drastic jump.
not to mention both our pairs of Armada skis have held up much much better than other skis.
