Just bought/watched Nimbus: Departure...

STOKED.

first off, this is basically a full movie, so the 5$ is well worth it, i am officially on board for all of the next ones.

music: off the top of my head...willie nelson, sizzla, tired eyes, and a couple others.

standouts:everyone kills it, but Anthony Boronowski and Dylan Hood were on point, Blake had some really nice lines as well.

cinematography is sick, as usual with nimbus stuff...the snow seems endless in all parts except the beginning of the italy trip, which then turns to gold.

was a little bit of just random filming, just messing around, which i enjoyed anyways.

LOTS of pow. LOTS of booters.

overall: well worth the purchase. stoked for the next one to come out.

This could really revolutionize the ski film side of things... $5 for 40 minutes. Footage of just one trip and already so many bangers. How many trips to come... 3? 4? That would make it somewhere around 160-200 minutes of ski action for less than $30.

I'M OK WITH THIS.

I was really stoked for this, so I paid my $5 but unfortunately it wont let me download the podcast through Itunes as the mobilerider podcast is only available in the US Itunes store. Kinda gutted really as I was stoked to see this...

SOSOSOSO good. I've watched it 5 times already. Just makes you want to ski and never stop.

It's good video quality, but not true HD... pretty sure at least. I feel the En Route series from last year was better video quality when downloaded off the Nimbus website. Could have something to do with the fact thats its coming from an iTunes podcast thing.

Doesn't really matter though. Its so sick

Ridiculous skiing. Simply mind breaking stuff.

yeah it downloads as an mp4 file that you can copy and put on another computer

anyways, movie was so sick. Nimbus continues to be my favorite

I can only think of 1 shot of each off the top of my head. They didn't have many.

I really enjoyed the movie. The music was refreshingly different, and there was some really amazing backcountry jumping. Definitely planning on getting the other ones.

To those wondering if their computers can handle it, it's 720p (1280x720 resolution) .mp4 (it's actually m4v which is the iTunes wrapper for mp4). So you could go online and find a 720p mp4 and if that plays it'll probably work.

If it's m4v I could put it on a flashdrive and play it through an xbox360, no?  I advised people to try that, it worked well with hunting yeti and plays much better than my slow ass computer can do.

Tried to get it, the transaction won't complete and the amex card is valid. Need to see this for some inspiration, I'm going to colorado on saturday. Not that I'll be able to do 99% of what these guys can though, but it will still get me more stoked.

Yeah, I was kinda dissapointed that they didn't show the doubles in the webisode (c'mon Pollard doing doubles, that stoked me the hell out!) I have come the the conclusion that they'll be in the movie for ultimate bangerness!

Putting it on a flashdirve and playing it through a tv works, so I urge you all to do it if your computer is slow. I downloaded it last night, checked if that worked, listened to the ski show and went to bed. Now I'm at my grandparent's house and have been waiting to watch this all day.
