Every ski company writes the exact same thing about their all mountain skis, they all seem to kill it everywhere.
I know, I know, its an all mountain ski. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is it just a preference of graphics and brand loyalty? Every time I find a ski I think about buying, I read some bad reviews, and it no longer seems like such a good buy.
Line Chronics?
4frnt MSP?
Armada ARV?
Rossi s3?
The list goes on and on.
Does it matter, or is it just a gamble?

definatly not true...having demo'ed a bunch of "all mountain skis" from different companies they all ski different. Personally, i hate rossi skis, have never liked them at all really. Even though the specs of the ski might be the same the material and everything makes it feel different and ski different

If you ski a bunch you will get a feel and realize they are different. I personally think the Rossi S3 is a great ski! I think that having a rocker is the direction that companies will start to go when it comes to their all mountain skis. The S3 is a great example of a ski that is fun for playing around in the park, ripping crud or riding some pow. You just have to try different sticks and see what you like.

every ski from every company will be the same.
every company will say their park skis kill it in the park, their all mountain skis slay the entire mountain, and their pow skis float like non other.
now it comes down to the actual dimensions and features (rockers or camber or reverse camber) and the construction (side wall vs. cap, wood core, all that internal stuff).
you'll learn all about what makes a ski work with some research and you will be able to tell the difference
